About Us

About Us

Sepulo Holdings is an eco-investment holdings company. Its core objective is to lead as a global green lifestyle provider, by building a sustainable ecosystem through mergers and acquisitions of sustainable corporations. Through its subsidiaries, Sepulo currently engages in the business of manufacturing and trading of sustainable wooden furniture and the activities of green interiors and design.

The operating business of the group is sustainable wood product manufacturer, One-Tech (M) Sdn Bhd, a 70% owned subsidiary of Sepulo. With 29 years of experience in the timber industry, One-Tech has developed a strong portfolio and places sustainability at the forefront of its business. In 2012, it established ‘The Green Factory,’ a concept which embraces sustainability through circular manufacturing, zero waste management, green design, stakeholder engagement and public outreach.

One Tech’s business can be classified into two functions: 1) Legacy Business and 2) Venture Business. The more developed function of the two, the Legacy Business, manufactures and supplies wooden furniture to government schools and offices across Malaysia as well as undertaking large-scale interior projects. In the past decade, however, One-Tech has spearheaded the manufacturing and retail sale of sustainably designed wooden homeware and furniture through its Venture Business.

Sepulo is looking to run an ECF campaign together with Leet Capital to raise up to RM5 million to fund operational expenditures, acquire a new factory & equipment, and undertake mergers and acquisitions of businesses within the supply chain of sustainable wooden products. Additionally, to pave an exit route for their investors, Sepulo targets to be listed on the stock exchange by 2026.

Problem and Opportunity

Problem and Opportunity

One of the most critical issues of today is recognising and building a sustainable ecosystem for generations to come. Within the timber industry - in particular, the wooden furniture and homeware manufacturing industry - the fundamental problem is that current practices are contributing to significant unsustainable deforestation and poor waste management. As the demand for environmentally friendly wooden homeware products rises (market is projected to reach US$36.6 billion by 2025), and as the world strives to build a more sustainable ecosystem, solutions to tackle current problems in this industry are crucial.

Since 2020, Sepulo’s operating subsidiary, One-Tech has faced challenges in meeting the vastly growing demand for its sustainable products – the company has garnered an overwhelming amount of enquiries from other local businesses who seek advice and solutions on how to adopt sustainable practices within their operations.

To address these issues, Sepulo plans to:

  • Acquire other sustainable corporations in the wood manufacturing industry to establish a large-scale green lifestyle ecosystem;
  • Develop local green homeware brands based on a circular economy, for local and international market to meet the growing demand of green homeware and furniture products whilst reducing environmental impact (less than 5% waste);
  • Educate other players in the industry as well as other industries on sustainable manufacturing practices to create long-term sustainability across industries; and
  • Offer the B40 community with learning programmes related to timber production and provide job opportunities for a thriving pool of skilled youth talents.
